Operator Viewer

An operator never draws or edits a Screen; they open one built by an admin (see the other pages in this section) and watch it live. This page covers that operator-facing side, at Production > HMI Screens.

The Screens list

Production > HMI Screens (/production/hmi/screens) lists every Screen an admin has saved, the same set shown in the admin's own Screens manager. Click the star on any card to favorite it; favorited Screens are always sorted to the top of the list, so the ones you check often stay within reach without scrolling. This preference is kept on your own device only, not synced across operators or workstations.

Click a card to open that Screen in the viewer.

The viewer

The viewer (/production/hmi/view/:screenId) shows the exact same canvas an admin built, with every drawing tool stripped away. There is no Mouse/Select mode here: the viewer is permanently in the same Hand mode described in HMI Overview, so:

  • Dragging pans the view; the mouse wheel zooms in and out, centered on the cursor.
  • Any live control the admin made interactive, a Switch, Slider, or Pushbutton, responds to clicks exactly as it would while an admin tests it in Hand mode from the editor.
  • Every Dynamic-mode Shape, Gauge, Liquid tank, Pipe, and Widget updates live from real OpSee Tags, the same values the admin bound them to.

Notifications

If a Shape has notification rules configured (see Dynamic Bindings and Notifications), they fire in the viewer exactly the same way they do in the editor: a dismissible card in the bottom-right corner, expand on the first click, dismiss on the second.

Right-click a Shape in the viewer to open just its Notifications dialog directly, without any of the editor's own style options, useful for checking or acknowledging a Shape's rules without leaving the operator view.
