Keyboard Shortcuts

OpSee does not use a global keyboard shortcut system. There is no central registry of hotkeys. The shortcuts below are standard browser and component behaviors that work consistently throughout the application.

Key	Action
Escape	Closes an open dialog or drawer
Escape	Closes the search bar when it has focus
Escape	Exits fullscreen mode (browser native)
Escape	Exits Select mode in the Cockpit

Forms

Key	Action
Enter	Submits the form when focus is on a text field (where enabled)
Tab	Moves focus to the next form field
Shift + Tab	Moves focus to the previous form field

DataGrids

DataGrids use standard MUI DataGrid keyboard navigation:

Tab	Move focus into the grid
Arrow keys	Navigate between cells
Enter	Enters edit mode on an editable cell
Escape	Cancels cell editing
Space	Toggles row selection (when selection is enabled)

Notes

• Custom application-level hotkeys (e.g. Ctrl+S for save, Ctrl+Z for undo) are not implemented.
• Browser shortcuts (Ctrl+F, F5, F11, etc.) work normally and are not intercepted by OpSee.
